Review: Midnight In Paris (***1/2)

Before I start my review I wanna say sorry for the lack of updates. I was on a vacation for a few weeks but I am back with a review.

Midnight in Paris is Woody Allen's new film it's about Gil (Owen Wilson) traveling to Paris with his fiance Inez (Rachel McAdams) and her parents (Mimi Kennedy, Kurt Fuller). One night Gil is walking on the streets of Paris where a vintage 1920's car pulls up and takes him to the 1920's where he meets F Scott Fitzgerald (Tom Hiddleston of Thor) and his wife Zelda (Alison Pill), the next day he returns to the real world but every time at midnight he would return back to the car. Over the course of the film he meets people that were famous such as Pablo Picasso (Marcial Di Fonzo Bo), Cole Porter (Yves Heck), Salvador Dali (Adrien Brody), and Ernest Hemingway (Corey Stoll). He also met some people that are not so famous such as a book editor named Gertrude Stein (Kathy Bates) and Adrianna (Marion Colitard).

Overall it's a great film but not a masterpiece but still very good. Owen Wilson gives his best performance, it's not Oscar worthy but deserves a Golden Globe nomination. I also liked the elements of Historical fiction.
